From APPLES to Oranges: Building Diverse Partnerships for Service-Learning Courses

March 1 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Dr. Robert Pleasants in front of a class of students teaching.

Join us for an engaging panel discussion featuring faculty and community partners who demonstrate leadership in APPLES service-learning courses. Discover firsthand insights into their teaching experiences, collaborative efforts with students and impactful community partnerships. Explore the diverse array of APPLES courses spanning numerous academic disciplines, many of which satisfy the Experiential Education or High-Impact Experience requirements for graduation.

This panel is being sponsored by APPLES Service-Learning, a student-led program that transforms educational experiences by connecting academic learning and public service. Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity for students to forge meaningful connections with inspiring professors. It’s also a valuable event for educators curious about incorporating service-learning into their courses.

Registration for this event is closed. Thanks to those who came out Friday afternoon!
