Better Data for Better Zoning: Adding the Carolinas to the National Zoning Atlas

Get hands-on and help build a nationwide dataset of zoning laws! Code with the Carolinas—a civic tech volunteer organization—is partnering with the National Zoning Atlas (zoningatlas.org) to help build this dataset that will inform policy areas like affordable housing, transportation, and environmental protection throughout the country. During our event, participants will learn about the project and our model of civic tech volunteering, then do internet research to help build the dataset. This mini-hackathon is for all skill levels and will provide a great introduction to Code with the Carolinas.
