Photo with the text: "Music Maker Foundation. Free book launch event with Piedmont Blues Musician Gail Ceasar & Author Georgann Eubanks. Flyleaf music series, Wednesday, February 28 @ 5:30 PM."

Come to Flyleaf Books for an evening of “edutainment” full of learning and listening!

This event, part of Carolina Public Humanities’ monthly Flyleaf Music Series, is an evening of music and conversation on the Flyleaf Stage celebrating the launch of the sixth book from the Music Maker Foundation, Song Keepers: A Music Maker Foundation Anthology by author Georgann Eubanks. Georgann is a writer, teacher, and consultant to nonprofit groups across the country. Also featured will be the music of Gail Caesar, a talented artist whose music is deeply rooted in her family’s heritage of oral storytelling and musical expertise. Blending elements of the blues and bluegrass, Gail’s performances transport listeners to generations’ past and make them feel right at home.

Carolina Engagement Week organizers are pleased to cross-reference this exciting event in collaboration with Carolina Public Humanities!

For more information, check out the event page on the Carolina Public Humanities website.

Registration for this event is closed. Thanks to everyone who came out on Wednesday evening!
