Asian Americans in the South: Collecting Community Stories with Southern Mix

Anna-Rhesa Versola, community co-founder of the Southern Mix oral history project, will speak about the project’s origins, what inspired her work, and how she feels it has contributed to a greater knowledge of Asian Americans in the South. Sophie To, a doctoral student in Health Behavior at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, will co-present about current activities and modes of engaging with Southern Mix.
