Building Bridges Between Communities and Carolina Faculty for 15 Years
The Thorp Faculty Engaged Scholars program, in its 15th year, is currently working with its eighth two-year cohort of Carolina faculty. The program is a faculty development initiative on the go, visiting community partnership and research sites of experienced engaged faculty and current participants as a group. Program participants examine and build enduring and engaged research partnerships between UNC faculty and community organizations. At this session, participants will learn about how being part of the Thorp Faculty Engaged Scholars cohort has influenced the engaged scholarship of participants, including challenges and successes.
