Basic Data Navigation is an interactive educational program partnered with the UNC Health Cancer Care Navigation program, a multidisciplinary team of trained oncology navigators designed to help navigate cancer patient care by providing resources and reducing their healthcare burdens. The purpose of Basic Data Navigation is to ensure all future navigators and healthcare personnel have the necessary education to understand the importance of data collection and tools for statistical analyses. By using quality data, the navigation program can continue accurately assessing patient encounters and ultimately improve lives among vulnerable patient populations in surrounding North Carolina communities.
