North Carolina Navigating Care for Families and Their Children with Developmental Disabilities

At this presentation, attendees will learn about the North Carolina Navigating Care for Families and Their Children with Developmental Disabilities (NCNC) project. The NCNC project was funded by HRSA (Health Resources Services Administration) with two primary aims: (1) Enhance screening and referral of children with developmental disabilities (including autism) in 15 NC pediatric practices, (2) Develop and implement an NC Family Navigation Guide and Model and conduct trainings across NC to enhance family navigation services for families and their children with developmental disabilities and autism. Statewide partners included Family Support Network, NC Autism Society and Children’s Developmental Services Agencies.
