NC CEAL: The Black/African-American Community Response Team

The North Carolina Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) Research Team established a collaborative process that implements intentional strategies to fully engage community partners to build the power necessary for shared decision making. The establishment of this collaborative also allows space for team members to provide feedback to academics, practitioners and researchers about their own COVID-19 efforts. This much-needed feedback aims to reduce conscious or unconscious racial biases that contribute to COVID-19 inequities in Black communities.
