Growing Together: Tackling Food Insecurity through Effective Community Engagement

This presentation will be on PORCH Fresh’s expansion project into western North Carolina. Through the MacDonald Community Fellowship, Taanvii Verma has been able to develop an initiative to optimize current PORCH Fresh operations, reach out to possible locations in western NC and organize all logistics involved in opening up another chapter. Alongside PORCH founder, Christine Cotton, Taanvii will be talking about this project as well as food insecurity in North Carolina.
